Amy Ellen's Story

Life Dec 09 - Chris and I have been married 16+ years. Our son will be 11 on the 19th of December. I continue to work for Colorado Springs School District 11 as a substitute kitchen assistant. Yes, I'm the Lunch Lady! Lol. Chris and I are still living in the Springs. Chris continues serving in the US Navy Reserve and made Chief Petty Officer in October. We currently have 6 beautiful nieces and 4 nephews, hopefully with more on the way. We are truly blessed! School Biggest crush: I had a LOT of them. I married my biggest crush of all, though. ore pictures in frames and albums so I can show my son. College I took a stab at tech school. I was aiming to become a draftsman (drafts-person.. whatever lol).It didn't pan out, I was horrible with the math which is essential to the work. If I do go back to school it would be a toss up between culinary school or web-based technologies. I know, HUGE difference! Workplace I'm happier than ever working with elementary school children and making sure they eat good meals every day. It's physically demanding and it doesn't pay well, but having my son with me all day (he attends the school I work in) and being able to be home with him in the evening is very important. I continue to maintain websites but I have not taken on any new projects in over a year.
